GOD  | There is one true God who lives eternally in three equal but distinct persons – The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. He is the creator, ruler and sustainer of all things.Genesis 1:1, 26, 27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; Acts 17:24-25; 1 Peter 1:2; 1 John 5:6-8; Corinthians 13:14

HUMANITY | All people are made in the image of God, designed to be like Him in character, and are called to reflect His holiness on the earth. Sin, however, has corrupted every human being so that they are unable to fulfil the purpose for which they were designed. Sin separates people from the life of God and makes them subject to divine wrath and judgement.Genesis 1:27; Leviticus 19:2; Psalm 8:3-6; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1, 2; Ephesians 2:1-3

JESUS CHRIST | Jesus Christ is God’s eternal Son. He was born of the virgin Mary, fully God and fully human. He lived a sinless life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for sins by dying on the cross, making it possible for all people to be reconciled with God. After three days in the grave, Jesus rose physically from the dead to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He has now ascended to the Father and is reigning over all and is the only Saviour of the world. One day He will return to earth to complete the purposes of God and He will reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords for all eternityMatthew 1:20; Luke 2:52; John 1:1-4, 14; Colossians 1:15-20; Hebrews 1:1-3John 1:29; 10:1-18; Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Galatians 1:4; 1 Peter 3:18; Matthew 28:1-20; Mark 16:1-8; Luke 24:1-53; John 20:1-23; 1 Corinthians 15:12-34; Acts 1:9-11; Acts 2:36; Acts 4:10-12; 1; Matthew 25:31-46; John 5:28-29; Acts 1:11; Revelation 20:11- 15; Revelation 21:1-8

SALVATION | Salvation is a gift from God. It cannot be earned by works, but can only be received through faith in Christ’s death and resurrectionEphesians 2:8-9; Romans 5:1-2; 10:9

THE CHURCH | The Church is the body of Christ, both local and universal and is called to worship God and proclaim the gospel. Every member is of equal worth and equipped by the Spirit with differing gifts in order to contribute to the ministry and mission of God on earth1 Corinthians 12:1-27; Romans 12:3-8; Matthew 28:18-20

THE BIBLE | The Bible is God’s word to humankind. Written by human authors under divine inspiration, it is without error and therefore fully trustworthy for life and faith.2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20, 21; Psalm 119; Proverbs 30:5

THE HOLY SPIRIT | The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and The Son as God. He makes people aware of their need for a Saviour and leads them to repentance. He dwells within each believer, empowering them to become more like Christ and equipping them to be His witnesses.John 16:7-13, Acts 1:8; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:16-25; 2 Thessalonians 2:13
