Sunnyhill Ferndown 2018-10-12T16:28:20+00:00

At the Sunnyhill Ferndown Campus, you’ll discover that our primary passion is to provide a place
where people just like you can have a life-changing experience with God.

From January 2019, we will be enjoying weekly Sunday services at The Barrington Theatre in the heart of Ferndown.
For the moment,
we are holding monthly ‘interest’ services at The Barrington (see dates below)
where you will find our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds,
regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey.

Our aim is to infuse life and God’s love into people and families through engaging, powerful worship services
that offer biblical truth in
 relevant and practical ways.

So whether you’re a spiritual seeker who’s just starting to ask questions about God,
or a committed Christian who wants to sink the roots
of your faith even deeper, you can find a home here at Sunnyhill Ferndown.

Sunday 28thOctober, 7.30pm

Get Involved

At Sunnyhill, we wholeheartedly believe that we are here ‘FOR THE ONE’ and we love to demonstrate this by giving of our time and energy in serving – both on Sundays and during the week.
Sunnyhill Ferndown is full of amazing people that have discovered their gifts and passions and are actively serving in them.

From creating a comfortable environment for guests by serving on the Host Team, to leading the next generation by serving in our Kid’s Ministry Team to helping to craft a dynamic experience with our Worship, Creative and Technical Teams. There are loads of fantastic opportunities and ways to get involved.

A taste of Sunnyhill Ferndown

Meet Adam & Fru

Adam and Fru Bird are the Campus Pastors for Sunnyhill Ferndown.

They have been married for 23 (awesome & eventful) years and together they are raising five amazing humans: two teenaged boys – (Gideon and JJ) and three girls ranging from teen to toddler (Charlotte, Grace and Eliza).

They met at Middlesex Uni in 1992, studying Performing Arts and both had careers in the arts and education.  Adam was a gigging musician and composer for many years.  He became an Assemblies of God minister, serving for 15 years on staff at Bromley Christian Centre whilst lecturing at University of West London before God called him and the family to Dorset this year. Fru was a dancer and artistic director for Springs Dance Company, an arts adviser and then secondary school teacher and foster carer whilst volunteering for the Bromley church. She studied Theology and Leadership at St Mellitus College.

Since coming to Dorset, they have unpacked a bit, had some people over and registered with the doctors.

Adam and Fru love God more than anything.  They often refer to keeping Jesus front and centre.  They do their best to live a joined up life where faith, life, fun, people and cake all have significance.  Adam loves to lead worship and teach the Sunday gathering how to succeed in the ‘with-God’ life.  Fru loves to help people navigate life’s ups and downs, moving to the next level of faith and ministry.  They both have a passionate care for the people of this district and a heart to see people of all ages discover their purpose, follow the living God and flourish.
