Welcome

Hey, we love that you have dropped by and we hope you find all the info you need here.  However we’d much prefer to welcome you personally at one of our locations this Sunday.

We are Sunnyhill, we are a vibrant, contemporary, multisite church that is faith-filled, life-fuelled, fun loving and passionate about Jesus. Church to us isn’t about stuffy religious practices, but it’s about people expressing life and faith in Jesus.

Our purpose is simple; we are here ‘For The One’. We focus our lives on loving and bringing honour to Jesus (‘The One’) and the best way we can do this, is by loving and making Him known to anybody (‘the one’) who hasn’t experienced Him yet. We believe that in doing these things we’re living out Jesus’ New Commandment (see John 13:34). We do this both within the Dorset region and beyond…

 Giving

Living a generous life helps us to keep God and money in their rightful places. Giving also provides resource to create a healthy community and organisation.

 Bible Reading Plan

This particular bible reading plan is unlike a conventional reading schedule. The aim is not to try and get through the whole bible in a year, but rather just to read one book each month.

This year we want you to read less and think more. The reason for this is to encourage slower, but deeper reading. God really does want to speak to you through the scriptures, so as you follow this plan, read slowly and read carefully, and perhaps begin to think of it less as ‘reading the word’, and more as ‘listening to His voice.’

Readings are given for each weekday, leaving you with weekends to catch up if you fall behind. To help you engage with each reading there will be vlogs, blogs, articles and other resources posted on the ‘Sunnyhill’s One Group’ facebook page (click below) each day, so feel free to join in by becoming a member of the group.
