Morning

Meditate: Psalm 1:1-3

Noon 🤔

Consider: As we start this journey of prayer and fasting, let's meditate on the profound truth that as children of God, we walk in His blessing. Psalm 1 beautifully illustrates the life of someone who delights in the law of the Lord. Such an individual is described as being blessed – deeply favored and divinely empowered by God.

Firstly, we're reminded not to walk in step with the world's ways, but to align ourselves with God's truth. This means making deliberate choices about the company we keep, the media we consume, and the values we uphold. When we prioritise God's Word and His ways above all else, we position ourselves to receive His abundant blessings.

Secondly, we're encouraged to delight in God's law and to meditate on it day and night. This goes beyond mere adherence to rules; it's about cultivating a heart that is attuned to God's voice and His will. When we immerse ourselves in Scripture, allowing it to shape our thoughts and actions, we become rooted and grounded in God's truth.

The imagery of a tree planted by streams of water is a powerful depiction of the blessed life. Just as a tree draws nourishment from a constant water source, so too do we draw our strength and sustenance from God's presence. When we remain connected to Him through prayer, worship, and fellowship, we experience His provision and fruitfulness in our lives.

Finally, the psalmist declares that whatever the blessed person does prospers. This isn't a promise of worldly wealth or success, but rather of spiritual fruitfulness and fulfillment. When we walk in obedience to God, seeking His kingdom above all else, He blesses us with His presence, peace, and purpose.

Night🙏

Action: Spend time in prayer & worship seeking the Lord for spiritual refreshing. This is for both you and your household.
